Since 1995 we have helped 135 groups in the city.  Some 3,000 children attend parent and toddler groups in Newcastle every week.  Around two-thirds of Newcastle's wards have been identified as being within the 20 % most deprived in the country.

Newcastle Action for Parent and Toddler Groups Initiative can offer groups:

• No membership fee.
• Support and advice from experienced staff.
• Help in a moment of crisis.
• Links with other relevant agencies and organisations.
• An up to date toddler group directory.
• Regular mailings including a termly newsletter.
• Short term loan of suitable toys and equipment.
• Access to and information about relevant training courses.
• Low cost laminating service.
• Advice on fundraising, trusts and grant giving bodies.
